CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Chairperson Cameron called the meeting to order at 6:20 P.M.
Present: Chairperson Sheila Cameron, Board Members Dennis Holz, Christy Guefin,
James Bond, Chuck DuVivier, and Lu Mohler.
Absent: None.
Also Board Manager Kerry Miller, Board Attorney Glen Sabine, Deputy Board Clerk
Present: Greene, Housing and Grants Analyst Mills, Council Secretary Rubottom.
There being a quorum present, the meeting was in order.

ACTION:
Guerin moved, DuVivier seconded to close and adopt the Consent Calendar. Motion
carried. Ayes: Guerin, DuVivier, Holz, Cameron, Bond, Mohler; Nays: None.

H2. Public Hearing to Receive Inpllt and Receive public testimony and approve the draft
Approve Draft 2000-2005 Housing 2000-2005 Agency Plan.

Housine & Grants Analyst Mills.
Housing and Grants Analyst Mills reviewed the staff report stating that the U.S. Department of
Housing and Urban Development (HUD) had imposed new requirements for the 2000-2005
Housing Authority Agency Plan. The plan must now include a Mission Statement, Goals and
Objectives for the next 5 years, Housing Needs Assessment, Statement of Financial Resources,
and Policies.
ACTION:
Holz moved, DuVivier seconded to approve the Draft 2000-2005 Housing Authority Agency
Plan with the amendment to the Mission Statement as follows: "To promote adequate and
affordable housing, economic opportunity and a suitable living environment for all ~ncc.,'nc
Ic;'c;.; in t~c City of Encinitas residents of all income levels." Motion carried. Ayes: Holz,
DuVivier, Cameron, Guerin, Bond, Mohler; Nays: None.
