Chairperson Bond called the meeting to order at 6:15 P.M.
Present: Chairperson James Bond, Board Members Lou Aspell, Sheila Cameron, John
Davis, Chuck DuVivier, and Lou Mohler.
Absent: None.
Also Board Secretary Wasserman, Board Attorney Krauel, Board Clerk Cervone,
Present: Assistant Board Manager Benson, Housing/Grants Analyst Guimond, Deputy
Board Clerk Greene.
There being a quorum present, the meeting was in order.
CLOSING AND ADOPTION OF TI-IE CONSENT CALENDAR
HI. Approval of Minutes: 03/25/98 Regular Meeting. Contact Person: City Clerk
Cervone.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approve Minutes.
ti2. Consideration and authorization for the submittal of an application to the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for additional Section 8
rental vouchers for persons with disabilities, and to authorize the Executive
Director/Secretary of the Board of Commissioners to act as the official
representative of the Housing AuthoritX to submit the application. Contact Person:
Housing/Grants Analyst Guimond.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the submission of an application
for additional Section 8 rental vouchers for persons with disabilities, and
authorize the Executive Director/Secretary of the Board of Commissioners
to act as the official representative of the Housing Authority to submit the
application.
Chairperson Bond requested a brief explanation on item H2, and Housing/Grants Analyst
Guimond reviewed the staff report.
Bond moved, DuVivier seconded to close and adopt the Consent Calendar. Motion carried.
Ayes: Aspell, Bond, Cameron, Davis, DnVivier, Mohler; Nays: None.
