.CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CAIJ,
Vice-Chairperson Bond called the meeting to order at 7:14 P.M.
Present: Vice-Chairperson James Bond, Board Members Lou Aspell, John Davis, Gail Hano, and
Lou Mohler.
Absent: Chairperson DuVivier.
Also Board Manager Wasserman, Board Attorney Krauel, Board Clerk Cervone, Assistant
Present: Board Manager Benson, Community Development Director Holder, Housing and Grants
Analyst Guimond, and Deputy Board Clerk Greene.
There being a quorum present, the meeting was in order.
_CLOSING AND ADOPTION OF THE CONSENT CALENDAR
Vice-Chairperson Bond removed item H2 from the Consent Calendar.
Hano moved, Aspell seconded to close and adopt the amended Consent Calendar. Motion
carried. Ayes: Aspell, Bond, Davis, Hano, Mohler; Nays: None; Absent: DuVivier.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approve Minutes.

aside funds for administrative fees for Section 8 Famll Self-Sufficienc FSS ro ram
coordinators and to authorize the Executive Director/Secreta of the Board of
Commissioners to act as the official re resentative of the Housin Authorit to submit the

Housing and Grants Analyst Guimond said the Family Self-Sufficiency was designed to provide
intensive supportive services to families receiving Section 8 rental assistance in order to promote
increased economic security, enabling families to move off of public assistance into a self-sufficient
position.
Ms. Guimond stated that if the application was approved for funding, the Housing Authority could enter
into an agreement with North Coast Housing to provide a part-time FSS program coordinator.
Hano move0, Davis seconded to approve the staff recommendation to authorize the Housing
Authority to submit an application for a Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program Coordinator
grant and to authorize the Executive Director/Secretary of the Board of Commissioners to act as
the official representative of the Housing Authority to submit the application. Motion carried.
