RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ENCINITAS,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER
AND THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE APPLICATION TO THE
STATE OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
FOR DAMAGE CAUSED DURING THE JANUARY 1993 STORMS
DESIGNATION OF
APPLICANT'S AGENT RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE City of Encinitas that:
Lauren Wasserman, City Manager
or
James Benson. Assistant City Manager
or
Bob Nelson, Public Works Director
is hereby authorized to execute for and in behalf of the City of Encinitas, a public entity established
under the laws of the State of California, this application and to file it in the Office of Emergency
Services for the purpose of obtaining certain federal financial assistance under P. L. 93-288 as amended
by the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act of 1988,m and/or state financial
assistance under the natural Disaster Assistance Act for storms which occurred in January of 1993.
THAT the City of Encinitas, a public entity established under the laws of the State of California, hereby
authorizes its agent to provide to the State Office of Emergency Services for all matters pertaining to
such state disaster assistance the assurances and agreements required.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this March 12. 1997 by the following vote, to wit:
