1975-21 Resolution Urging the Denial of the Reorganization of the San Dieguito Irrigation District & the Cardiff Sanitation District
RESOLUTION NO. R75-21
RESOLUTION URGING TRE DENIAL OF TRE REORGANIZATION OF TRE
SAN DIEGUITO IRRIGATION DISTRICT AND TRE CARDIFF SANITATION
DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the San Dieguito Irrigation District re-
quested by its Resolution No. R73-09 that the San Dieguito Irrigation District
and the Cardiff Sanitary District be reorganized into a San Dieguito Municipal
Water Districtj
AND WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission by its Resolution R073-2
adopted the 3rd day of December, 1973, approved said reorganization of the
districts;
AND WHEREAS, further action on the reorganization of the said districts
was deferred pending the outcome of an election for the incorporation of the
involved communitiesj

AND WHEREAS, _ the time of said approval by the Local Agency Formation
Commission certain contracts have been entered into by the County Board of
Supervisors# acting as a governing body of Cardiff SFnitation District, and
certain other actions have been taken by the San Diego County Department of

Sanitation and Flood Control, ~ that it no longer appears to be in the
interest of the local community that such reorganization should take placej
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the San
Dieguito Irrigation District does hereby urge the denial of the dissolution
of the San Dieguito Irrigation District, the dissolution of the Cardiff
Sanitation District and the formation of the San Dieguito Municipal Water
District.
