CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Mayor Wiegand called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.
Present:
Mayor Maura Wiegand, Council Members James Bond, John
Davis, Chuck DuVivier and Gail Hano.
Also
Present:
City Manager Shafer, City Attorney Krauel, Assistant City
Manager Benson, City Clerk Pool, Public Works Director~
Nelson, Community Development Director Murphy, Fire Chief
Heiser, Sheriff's Captain Wood, Management Analyst
Schillinger, Senior Office Specialist Greene.
There being a quorum present, the meeting was in order.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
REGULAR AGENDA
Adoption of Resolution 92-86 Reciting the Facts of the General
Municipal Election Held on November 3, 1992, Declaring the
Results and Such Other Matters as-Provided by Law; and
Presentation of Certificates of Election to Council Members
James Bond, Chuck DuVivier and Gail Hano. Contact Person:
City Clerk Pool.
Davis moved, Hano seconded to adopt Resolution 92-86.
carried. Ayes: Bond, Davis, DuVivier, Hano and Wiegand.
None.

2. Selection of Mayor.
Hano moved, DuVivier seconded to appoint John Davis for Mayor.
Motion carried. Ayes: Bond, Davis, DuVivier, Hano, Wiegand; Nays:
None.
3. Selection of Deputy Mayor.
Davis moved, DuVivier seconded to appoint Gall Hano as Deputy
Mayor. Motion carried. Ayes: Bond, Davis, DuVivier, Hano,
Wiegand; Nays: None.
Mayor Davis presented former Mayor Wiegand with a plaque and
thanked her for her service.

Dan Wiegand, Anne Omsted, Patrick Murphy, Warren Shafer, Anne
Patton, Kate DuVivier, Brother Annilananda, and Denice Sanchez
presented former Mayor Wiegand with gifts and well wishes.
Former Mayor Wiegand thanked everyone for their well wishes and
said it had been an honor to serve as the Mayor of Encinitas.
Mayor Davis declared the meeting adjourned at 7:21 P.M.
