Meeting called by notice pursuant to G.C. Section 54956.
1. CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL
Mayor Hano called the meeting to order at 6:35 P.M.
Present: ~ayor Gall Hano, Council Members John Davis, Anne Omsted,
Pamela Slater and Maura Wiegand.
Also
Present: city Manager Chafer, city Attorney Krauel.
There being a quorum present, the meeting was in order.
2. RECESS INTO CLOSED SESSION
Slater moved, Omsted seconded to recess into closed session under
the authority of Government Code Section 54956.9(a) to discuss the
following pending matters:
A. Litiqation Briefings, Pursuant to Government Code §
54956.9(a):
1. city of Encinitas v. County of San Dieqo re: Property
Tax.
2. City of Encinitas v. City of San Marcos re: Trash to
Enerqy Plant.
3. City of Encinitas v. California Pollution Control
Financinq Authority re: Trash to Enerq7 Plant Funding.
Directions to Negotiators Reqardinq Possible Lease/Purchase
of 53.5 Acre Parcel Located at 3286 Brookside Lane,
Olivenhain, APN #265-250-05, for Parkland Purposes; Pursuant
to Government Code § 54956.8.
Motion carried. Ayes: Davis, Hano, Omsted, Slater, Wiegand; Nays:
None.
3. ADJOURNMENT
Council reconvened into open session with nothing to report and
