LIGHTING DISTRICTv CONFIRMING THE 1990-1991
ENGINEER'S REPORT ANDORDERING THE
TRANSMISSION OF CHARGES TO THE COUNTY
~UDITOR FOR COLLECTION
WHEREAS, the city Council of the city of Encinitas resolves:
Pursuant to Chapter 3 of the Landscaping and Lighting Act of
1972, the City Council directed the city Engineer as, Engineer
of Work for the Encinitas Landscape and Lighting District, to
prepare and file an annual report for fiscal year 1990-1991.
The Engineer of Work filed his annual report on June 27, 1990,
and the City Council adopted its resolution of intention to
levy and collect assessments within the assessment district
for fiscal year 1990-91 and set a public hearing to be held
at 7:00 p.m. on July 11, 1990, in the meeting place of the
City Council, City Hall, 535 Encinitas Boulevard. Notice of
the hearing was given in the time and manner required by law.
At the public hearing, the city Council afforded to every
interested person an opportunity to make a protest to the
annual report either in writing or orally, and the City
Council has considered each protest.
The City Council hereby confirms the diagram and assessment
as set forth in the annual report of the Engineer of Work,
levies the assessment set forth therein for fiscal year 1990-
91 and orders the transmission of the charges to County
Auditor for collection.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this llth day of July, 1990, by the
following vote, to wit:
