ASSESSMENT LEVY FOR ASSESSMFNT YEAR 1956-57
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the San Dieguito
Irrigation District, in accordance with the provisions of
Divisi on 11, Par t 102 Chapter 2 of the Irrigat ion Distric t
Laws of the State of California has considered all matters and
things required by law to be considered in determining and
fixing the Assessment Rate on lands of said District for the
ensuing year, and
WHEREAS' it has been found and determined that the total
egualized assessment valuation of land in said District fo'r
the ensuing year is $2,812,515.00 and that after deducting
the atatutory 15% to provide for delin,~uencies, the net
valuation upon which the assessment rate is to be levied
and computed is the sum of $2,390,637.75; and _
WHEREAS, the Board estima tes and determines that the
total amount necessary to continue the maintenance and
operation of the District for the year 1957 is $245,625.51;
budgeted to various expenditure items as follows:

lands in the District for the Assessment Year of 1956-57 and
an assessment of f our (4) pe r centum upon each dollar of
assessed valuation of the lands of the District is hereby
levied.

ADDING UNPAID WATER CHARGES TO THE.
ANNUAL ASSESSMENT. •
WHEREAS, the Assessment Book for the year 1956-57 was
delivered by the Secretary of the San Dieguito Irrigation District
to the Assessor of said nistrict in accordance with the pro-
visions of Section•25808 of tre VYater Code of the State of Calif-
ornia, and
WHEREAS, at that time certainwater charges hereinafter
specified remained unpaid,
NOW, THEREFGRE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT in accordance with the
provisions of Section 25808 of said Water Code, the amount of
unpaid water charges hereinafter specified shall be added to and
become a part of the annual assessment levied upon the land upon
which the water for which the charges are unpaid was used and
shall constitute a lien on that land:
