RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
SAN DIEGUITO IRRIGATION DISTRICT RELATING TO THE
INCLUSION OF CERTATN LANDS
WHERF.AS, there has been filed with San Dieguito Irriga-
tion District the petition of George W. Frederick arxl Grace
L. Frederick praying that the boundaries of SAN DIEGUITO
IRRIG.ATI()N DISTRICT be so charg ed as to include within
said District certain lands, therein and hereinafter de-
scribed; and
VVHEREAS, upon the filing of said petition, notice was
given in every respect as required by law and particularly
as required by Section 26881 of the California Water Code,
and it appearing to the Board of Directors that notices of
filing and hearing of said petition were posted in three
public places in each election precinct of the San Dieguito
Irrigation District for at least twenty days prior to the
' hearing oF said petition and that notice of said hearing
was given by publication of notice of the filing , and hear-
ing of said petition in the Coast Dispatch, of ~ncinitas,
. Calif ornia, a newspaper published in the County of San Diego,
State of california, where the offices of the Board of Di-
rectors of•San Dieguito Irrigation District are required
to be kept, once a week for three successive weeks, imme-
- diately preceding the regular meeting of the Board of Di-
. -r,ectors at which said petition was to be heard; and
, WHEREAS, the petition filed with the Board of Directors
;of San Dieguito Irrigation District by George W. Frederick
and Grace L. Frederick, as hereinbefore recited, pursuant
to the notices thereof posted and published, as required by
the California Water Code, as hereinbefore set forth came
on regularly for hearing on the 6th day of April, 19~9, the
same being the date specified in said notices, and the same
being a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of San
Dieguito Irrigation District; and
WIiEREAS, no protests have been presented in writing
against the inclusion of the lands described in said peti-
tion, and no objection was filed in writing showing cause
why the lands described in said petition should not be in-
cluded in the District, as proposed therein; and
WHEREAS, this Board of Lirectors has heard said peti-
tion, and evidence has been presented to this Board; and
WHEREAS, it appears to said Board of Directors from
the evidence presented at said hearing that the lands de-
scribed in the above mentiened petition can be served by
means of some of the present works of the District or prac-
ticable extensions thereof and are susceptible of irriga-
tion, and will be benefited by inclusion within the District,
and that such inclusion will be for the best interests of
the 'District, and said petition fully complies with the
law; and

WHEREAS, petitioner has advanced to the Secretary of
the Irrigation District sufficient money to pay for the
expense of the inclusion of said lands; and
WHEREAS, petitioner by filing its petition, did assent
to the inclusion of the lands set f orth in said petition
and to the change of boundaries of said District so as to
include.said lands as well as to assent to the inclusion
of said lands within the San Diego County Water Authority
and thereb;r within The Metropolitan Water District of
Southern California, together with an assumption of all
the obligations involved thereby,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Boar d of virectors of SAN DIEGUITO
IRRIGATION DISTRICT resolves, determines and orders as
follows:
That the "lands herein described are hereby included with-
in and made a part of the SAN DIEGUITO IRRIGATION DISTRICT.
That certified copy of this order shall be filed for re-
cord in the Office of the County Hecorder of San Diego
County, California, and thereupon the land described here-
in shall become a part of this District.
The description of the said lands so included is as follows:
That portion of Block "F" of Palomares Heights,
Map 2114 as filed in the office of the County
Recorder of San Diego County, California, de-
scribed as follows;-
Beginning at the NE corner of Lot 4, Block "E",
which is also a corner of Lots 3 and 4, Block "E";
thence S. 650 261 49" E. along the Northeasterly
line of Lot 4, Block "E", a dis tance of 11.84 ft.
to the true point of beginning; thence N. 690 44t 20"

REGARDING SURPLUS DONfESTIC 1AIATER CONTRACTS
WHERFAS: The existing and foreseeable future water supply
of the SAId DIEGUITO IRRIGATION DISTRICT will not be ade-
quate for additional surplus water comznittmonts in excess
of thoso now exi.sting; and
WHEREAS: Owners of existing surplus water contracts are
not novr able to dispose of properties on which surplus
water is now used because such disposal would at present
terminate said surplus tvater contracts, NOW THEREFORE
