Starr prop. 62 Acres 42.00 It was moved by Director Delay that it is the sense of this Board that it looks with favor upon the inclusion within the District of a relatively small acreage of lands not now in- cluded therein, providing that simzltaneously, or in the near . future thereafter, a like acreage be excluded from the district, and provided that such inclusion can be made upon terms as to inclusion fees and expenses, later to be agreed upon, satis- factory to the District; and in line with such policg, the Secretary and Collector are hereby instructed to contact Dr.. Clapp and Attorney Hughes, vaho desire, to have certain of their ands included, and ascertain what definite offer as to in- clusion fees they are vrilling to make in order to accomplish the inclusion of their lands. , , The_foregoing motion was seconded by Director rranYlin, and ' unanimously approved by the affirmative vote of all~ directors present. , _ - Director Bucklew moved that the bid submitted by Geo. W. 'Ketch of Vista, for placing tvuo coats of Armor Coat paint ' on Tank "A", at a,total price of ~185.00, be accepted, and that a contract,covering said job,be prepared by Attorney , Myers, providing for a two pear guarantee of the work.. Above motion was seconded by Director Knipe, and unanimously ` carried. The Secretary presented his monthly report to the Board, an d e upon motion ir e by Director Knipe, seconded by Director Franklin, it was unanimously br•dered 'that said report be approved and filed. The Secretary read to the Board a let'Ler from Ed Fletcher Company requesting permi.ssion to lease Lots 18 and 19 in Avocado Acres No. 3, for which District holds a tax deed, to Briggs Floral Company for one year, without consideration other than clearing the land. The secretary was informally instructed to write Mr. Fletcher giving him permission to execute such a le ase under the stated terms. The Secretary presented to the Board Ei Resolution of the San Dieguito Chamber of Commerce, approving the DistrictTS effort to secure better water for consumrs, and the Secretary was requested to write a le tter to Mr. Parke, Secretar3r of the Chamber of Commerce, tha.nking them for the resolution,'and assuring them of the Boardfs appreciation of their interest. U pon motion made by Director Knipe, sECOnded by Director Franklin, and unanimausly carried, it was ordere:d tha.t the meeting be adjourned until Friday;; October 15th, 1937, at one-thirty o t clock P.
