A TRAFFIC RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ENCINITAS, CALIFORNIA
RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF
NO STOPPING, STANDING OR PARKING ZONES
WHEREAS, the residents of 1221, 1225, and 1235 - 1241
Windsor Road submitted a petition dated March 16, 1987 requesting
time limit parking restrictions be installed along their street
frontage to enhance sight distance and traffic safety, and
WHEREAS, the County of San Diego Traffic Advisory Committee
at their June 5, 1987 meeting approved the establishment of a no
parking zone between 7:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on school days on the
east side of Windsor Road from Santa Fe Drive to a point 350'
southerly of Santa Fe Drive, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Encinitas
determined that traffic safety would be further enhanced if
parking along the subject frontage was totally prohibited; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Encinitas, CAlifornia that the following no stopping, standing or
parking zone be established:
1. The east side of Windsor Road from Santa Fe Drive to a
point 350 feet southerly of Santa Fe Drive.
