Deleting State-Owned Property
from the Assessment Rolls of the
San Dieguito Irrigation District
and Cancelling Current Taxes.
WHEREAS the properties hereafter described have been
acquired by the State of California, division of Highways
for freeway purposes by the following deeds:
Parcell: Executed by Ed Fletcher Company, by Roger ~.
Whitacre, Vice President, and Mildred Drake,
Asst. Secretary, dated September 14, 1961 and
recorded November 7, 1961, Series 2, Book 1961,
File/Page No. 192693, Official Records of San
Diego County, California;
Parcel 2: Executed by Forrest S. Thompson, et ux,
dated September 27, 1961 and recorded March 6,
1962, Series 3, Book 1962, File/Page No.
37709, Official Records of San Diego County,
California;
Parcel 1: Executed by Robert L. Downs, et ux, and
George A. Schutte et ux, dated December 4,
1961, and recorded February 5, 1962, Series 3,
Book 1962, File/Page No. 20482, Official Records
of San Diego County, California;

September 13, 1961, and recorded November 8,

HHEREAS, property owned by the State of California,
Division of Highways is not subject to assessments levied
by the San Dieguito Irrigation District, and all or any
portion of the uncollected tax, penalty or costs levied
upon the property may be cancelled by the Board of Directors
with the written consent of the District's attorney if such
tax was levied upon the property acquired after the lien
date by the State of California; and
WHEREAS the District's attorney has consented in writing
to the cancellation of the unpaid portion of the 1961-62
taxes upon said property, which consent is attached hereto
marked "Exhibit All

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following
property be deleted from the assessment rolls of the San
Dieguito Irrigation District, and that the unpaid portion
of the 1961-62 assessments upon said property be cancelled
by the Assessor-Collector of the District:

Avocado Acres No.5, according to Map
thereof No. 2130, filed in the office of the
County Recorder of San Diego County, Sept-
ember 19, 1928, lying Southerly of the follow-
ing described line:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said
Lot 20; thence along the Easterly line of said
