RESOLTUION NO. R85-44
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
SAN DIEGUITO WATER DISTRICT AWARDING
CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF WATER
REVENUE BOND PROJECTS 13 and 14
WHEREAS, the District called for bids for construction of
Water Revenue Bond Projects 13 and 14: and
WHEREAS, at the time and place designated, the bids were
opened and read aloud: and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible bidder was Hubbard
Construction Co.: and
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the District to award the
contract to the lowest responsible bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND
ORDERED by the Board of Directors of San oieguito Water District
as follows:
1. That the bid of Hubbard Construction Co. in the amount
of $539,500 be and it is accepted.
2. That the execution of the contract by the District is
conditioned upon the execution of the required contract by said
bidder, the delivery of the certificates referred to in the
project documents, and the furnishing of bonds for the faithful
performance of the contract and for payment of all persons
performing labor or furniShing material in connection therewith,
all as provided in the project documents.
3. That the Manager or any other officer of the District be
and they are authorized and directed to execute said contract on
behalf of the District with Hubbard Construction Co. at such time
as the conditions contained in this resolution and the project
documents have been complied with by said bidder.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Board of
Directors of San Dieguito Water District held on the 22nd day of
November, 1985, by the following vote, to wit:

Re: Bond Projects 13 & 14.
We received bids from three bidders for Bond Projects 13 & 14. The
bids received are on the attached sheet. Hubbard Construction Company was
the low bidder on both schedules with a bid of $539,500.00. The engineers
estimate was $516,235.00. The funds provided by the bond issue are $824.000.00.
I recommend that we award the contract to Hubbard Construction Company
for $539,500.00.
The projects consist of the following pipelines:
PROJECT NO.13 - Cardiff
Rubenstein - Westminister to Rubenstein
Newcastle - Orinda to Dublin
Brahms - Warwick to Rubenstein
Alley - Rossini 200' south
Alley - Oxford to Cambridge
PROJECT NO. 14 - Encinitas
Eolus - Leucadia to Hillcrest
Glaucus - Eolus to Freeway
Orpheus - Glaucus BOO' north
