1985-02 Approving & Authorizing Santa Fe Irrigation District to Receive Bids for the Meter Station Relocation & Tee Installation
RESOLUTION NO. R85-2
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
SAN DIEGUITO WATER DISTRICT APPROVING
AND AUTHORIZING SANTA FE IRRIGATION DISTRICT
TO RECEIVE BIDS FOR THE METER STATION
RELOCATION AND TEE INSTALLATION
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. R83-l2, San Dieguito
Water District and Santa Fe Irrigation District entered
into an agreement for joint construction and operation
of a hydroelectric power facility; and
WHEREAS, the agreement provided that Santa Fe shall
submit specifications and estimates to San Dieguito for
review and approval, and if approved by San Dieguito,
Santa Fe shall obtain bids for construction of the facility;
and
WHEREAS, estimates and specifications for the meter
station relocation and tee installation have been prepared
by Santa Fe and submitted to San Dieguito for review and
approval; and
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the District to
approve such estimates and specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, DETERMINED
AND ORDERED by the Board of Directors of San Dieguito
Water District as follows:
1. That said estimates and specifications be and
they are approved.
2. That Santa Fe Irrigation District is authorized
to call for bids for the construction of such facilities.
3. That due to the unique nature of the project
and the critical time period involved, the District approves
limitation of bidders to previously approved qualified
bidders and waives the requirement of calling for bids

pursuant to sections 22300-03 of the Water Code since
no bond funds will be used to finance this project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Board
of Directors of San Dieguito Water District held on the
28th day of January, 1985, by the following vote, to wit:
