1987-14 Awarding Contract for Disconnecting and Bypassing Oakcrest Tank
RESOLUTION NO. 87-14
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
SAN DIEGUITO WATER DISTRICT AWARDING
CONTRACT FOR DISCONNECTING AND
BYPASSING OAKCREST TANK
WHEREAS, the District has called for bids for disconnecting
and bypassing the Oakcrest tank; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place designated, the bids
were opened and read aloud; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible bidder was Edmond
J. Vadnais; and
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the District to
award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, DETERMINED
AND ORDERED by the Board of Directors of San Dieguito Water
District as follows:
1. That the bid of Edmond J. Vadnais in the amount
of $271,500 be and it is accepted.
2. That the execution of the contract by the District
is conditioned upon the execution of the required contract
by said bidder, the delivery of the certificates referred
to in the project documents and the furnishing of bonds
for the faithful performance of the contract and for payment
of all persons performing labor or furnishing material
in connection therewith, all as provided in the project
documents.
3. That the manager or any other officer of the District
be and they are authorized and directed to execute said
contract on behalf of the District with Edmond J. Vadnais
at such time as the conditions contained in this resolution
and the project documents have been complied with by said
bidder.

PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Board
of Directors of San Dieguito Water District held on the
27th day of May, 1987, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Directors Shea, Omsted, Gaines and Steel
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
