RESOLUTION NO, 2002-10
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
SAN DIEGUlTO WATER DISTRICT
AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
SCADA SYSTEM UPGRADE - PHASE I
WHEREAS, pursuant to authorization of the Board of Directors of San Dieguito Water District at a
regular meeting of September 22, 1999, the Board approved selection of CyberNet Consulting Ltd. to
prepare plans, specifications and contract documents for the solicitation of the SCADA System Upgrade -
Phase I; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place designated, the bids were opened and read aloud: and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible bidder was Rockwell Electric, Inc,; and
bidder;
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the District to award the contract to the lowest responsible
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board
of Directors of San Dieguito Water District as follows:
1.
That the bid of Rockwell Electric, Inc, in the amount of $100,401 be and it is accepted, plus 10%
contingency,

That the execution of the contract by the District is conditioned upon the execution of the required
contract by said bidder, the delivery of the certificates referred to in the project documents, and the
furnishing of bonds for the faithful performance of the contract and for payment of all persons
performing labor or furnishing material in connection therewith, all as provided in the project
documents,
3.
That the District Manager, or designated officer of the District, be and they are authorized and
directed to execute said contract on behalf of the District with Rockwell Electric, lnc, at such time
as the conditions contained in this resolution and the project documents have been complied with
by said bidder.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a special meeting of the Board of Directors of San Dieguito Water
District held on the 17110 day of July 2002, by the following vote, to wit:
