RESOLUTION NO, 2002-03
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF SAN DIEGUITO WATER DISTRICT AMENDING
ADMINISTRATIVE CODE (Re Time and Place
of Regular Board Meetings)
WHEREAS, the Government Code Section 54954(a) requires that legislative
bodies set a time and location of regular meetings by ordinance, resolution or by-laws;
and
WHEREAS, on December 5, 2001, the City Council/District Board directed Staff
to amend the regular City Council/District meeting times to begin at 6:00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of San
Dieguito Water District as follows:
1. That Section 2.4 of the San Dieguito Water District Administrative Code be
amended to read as follows:
Time and Place of Regular Board Meetings, Effective February 27, 2002, the
Board shall hold regular meetings on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:00
p.m. in the City of Encinitas Council Chambers, 505 South Vulcan Avenue,
Encinitas, California.
2. In accordance with Section 21378 of the Water Code, the City Clerk is authorized
and directed to publish a copy of this resolution once a week for two successive
weeks in a newspaper published in the County of San Diego, the county in which
the District is located,
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a special joint meeting of the Board of Directors of
San Dieguito Water District held on the 13th of February 2002, by the following vote to
wit:

Adoption of Resolution 2002.03, Amending Administrative Code (Re Time and
Place of Regular Board Meetings)
BACKGROUND: In accordance with Government Code, Section 54954(a) requires that
legislative bodies set a time and location of regular meetings by ordinance, resolution or by-laws.
ANALYSIS: On December 5, 2001, the CitylDistrict Council directed Staff to change the regular
CitylDistrict meeting times from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p,m. The San Dieguito Water District
Administrative Code requires amendments be reflected in Section 2.4, Time and Place of Regular
Board Meetings,
