CITY OF ENCINITAS
RESOLUTION NO. TC 93-08
A RESOLUTION OF THE TRAFFIC COMMISSION
RECOMMENDING TO CITY COUNCIL
THAT THE CITY TRAFFIC CODE BE ADOPTED
WHEREAS, City Council adopted under Ordinance 86-21 Title 14
regarding
traffic
regulations
and
incorporation
reference
by
portions of the San Diego County Code:
Title 7,
Division 2,
Articles 7, 8, 9, 10, 14 and 18i
WHEREAS, City Council recognized the need to adopt a City
Traffic Code by directing staff to prepare a draft 9f said Code
based on local conditions and current administrative procedures;
WHEREAS,
the
Traffic
commission
reviewed
adopted
a
and
November, 1991 Version of the draft City Traffic Code;
WHEREAS,
a final draft of the City Traffic Code has been
completed and reviewed by the Traffic Commission;
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Traffic Commission recommends to City
Council that the City Traffic Code be adopted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of April, 1993 by the
following vote:
