RESOLUTION NO. '!C 93-17
A RESOLU'!ION OF THE TRAJ'FIC COMMISSION
RECOMMENDING THA'! CITY COUNCIL ESTABLISH
A NO STANDING OR PARKING ZONE
WHEREAS, the County Board of supervisors on June 18, 1985
adopted Resolution 1171, item 564, relating to the establishment of
a No Standing or Parking zone as follows:
within that area measured from the north edge of the paved
roadway of Santa Fe Drive for a distance of 30 feet and
beginning at a point 240 feet east of Nardo Road easterly to
the west line of Bonita Drive
WHEREAS, the city council on July 10, 1991 adopted Resolution
91-54, relating to the establishment of a No stopping, standing or
Parking zone as follows:
The north side of Santa Fe Drive from the east line of Gardena
Road to the west line of Nardo Road and from a point 240 feet
east of Nardo Road to a point 250 feet east of Bonita Drive
WHEREAS, the city of Encinitas finds that there is now a need
to update the parking restrictions and provide additional parking
within the shoulder area on the north side of Santa Fe Drive;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Traffic commission of
the city of Encinitas, California, hereby recommends that said
Resolution 1171,' item 564 and Resolution 91-54 be rescinded and
replaced by a Resolution relating to No parking-Anytime zone to
read as follows:
1. NO PARKING ANYTIME on the north side of Santa Fe Drive
beginning at the east line of Gardena Road easterly to the
west line of Nardo Road thence from a point 240 feet east of
Nardo RQad to a point approximately 250 feet east of Bonita
Drive.

2. NO PARKING ANYTIME on the north side of Santa Fe drive
beginning at a point 240 feet east of the east line of Nardo
Road for a distance of 30 feet from the north edge of the
roadway within the dirt shoulder thence easterly to a point
approximately 420 feet and from the east line of Bonita Drive

easterly for a distance of 12 feet from the north edge of the
roadway to a point about 300 feet east of Bonita Drive.
