1998-033 State Cooperative Agreement RESOLUTION NO. 98-33
ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE
CITY OF ENCINITAS, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH
THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the State and City, pursuant to Streets and Highways Code Section 130, are
authorized to enter into a cooperative agreement for improvements to State highways within the
City, and
WHEREAS, the City desires State highway improvements consisting of widening
Leucadia Boulevard freeway overcrossing and its approaches, re-aligning one ramp, widening the
other three ramps and signalizing the ramp termini on State Freeway Route I-5, and
WHEREAS, the parties hereto desire to define the terms and conditions under which said
improvements are to be constructed and financed,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council approve the attached
cooperative agreement with the State of California and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to
execute same.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2 2 day of April 1998 by the following vote
to wit: '
